More than 70 times it is stated in the Koran that Allah is “All-Knowing”. One would therefore assume that He, the Omniscient, knows what the ordinary mortal happens to know. You might be mistaken.

Jesus really the Messiah of the Jews?

4.157. That they said [in boast], "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no [certain] knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

Everybody knows that the Jews did not consider Jesus as their Messiah. Nevertheless, according to Allah they are saying the following in the first person plural form: “We have killed the Messiah, the messenger of Allah.” If they do not recognize him as the Messiah, they won’t express themselves this way. We are clearly listening here to a Muslim (Mohammed?) who talks about Jesus as a Messiah and Messenger of Allah.

This would be comparable to a Muslim saying: “we consider Jesus,  Allah’s son, as Prophet of Allah. Not a single Muslim will say such a thing since Muslims do not consider Jesus to be the son of God.

Stars glued to the heavens

The Koran further gives the impression that the sun and the stars have been glued to the heavens as can be established visually, altogether not quite in line with the reality.

25.61. Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light;

37.6. We have adorned the lowest sky with stars.

In the meantime we have become aware that this hardly corresponds to reality and that stars are astronomically far away and not hang in the lowest skies.

The moon is a bright light

According to the Koran, the moon is itself a bright light; the reality is otherwise, of course:

10.5. It is He Who made the sun to be a shining glory and the moon to be a light [of beauty], and measured out stages for her; that ye might know the number of years and the count [of time]. Nowise did Allah create this but in truth and righteousness. [Thus] doth He explain His Signs in detail, for those who understand.

The sun travels in a fixed orbit. Around the planet Earth?

1. 21.33. It is He Who created the Night and the Day, and the sun and the moon: all[the celestial bodies] swim along, each in its rounded course.

1. 36.40. It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day: Each [just] swims along in [its own] orbit [according to Law].

The Christian Trinity is not, in the eyes of Allah, the Father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost but rather the Father, the Son, and the Mother (Mary)

5.116. And behold! Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst Thou say unto men, 'Worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah'?" He will say: "Glory to Thee! Never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, Thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, though I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden."
